What IWU gives you, and what it hands to you
IWU gives you the courses, program faculty who work with you on placements, and a School of Nursing that vets and approves every site and preceptor. The search itself is yours: IWU's pages say students identify possible preceptors and sites, and its catalog says any cost of clinical placement falls on the student.
That is where we come in. We line up preceptors who fit each course, from PYC-660 through the Primary Care Across the Lifespan sequence, and we assemble the preceptor and site details IWU reviews before it approves them. You start each practicum with your site settled and your Medatrax items ready.

I live outside Indiana. Can you help?
Yes. IWU's clinicals happen in your own community, and you need an unencumbered RN license in the state where you train. We search where you live. Your state guide covers the local rules.
How early should I start?
Before your first practicum course. IWU's recent catalogs asked for site and preceptor approvals in Medatrax by week two of a practicum course, so the search belongs well ahead of that. The course format page shows how IWU's courses run.
